Samantha Stephens-Miller

Samantha was born and raised in Shreveport, LA and graduated from The University of Alabama with a degree in Human Environmental Sciences with an emphasis on Human Development and Family Studies.  After graduation, Samantha began her career in customer service; which led into finance.  During her time in Tuscaloosa, AL she was responsible for opening and overseeing three loan companies.  After moving west, Samantha continued building her career in finance; which led her to the dental field.  Not having any dental experience, she joined Today's Dentistry in 2004.  She temporarily set aside the fact that she was acting CFO for a technology company to learn the ropes a dental practice in Ashland, OR.  She started from the ground up as a dental receptionist and grew into her position of Director of Operations coupled with some Limited Practice Management Consulting.

When asked why she would give up her status of CFO to join what was a very small dental practice at the time, her response was simple.  'I believe in the power of communication and how it can affect and transform the lives of individuals whether they are patients, employees, family members and/or friends'.  At Today's Dentistry, I will have the opportunity to make great changes, to touch lives and to help build the practice to achieve the level of success that is within its vision'. 

Samantha brings knowledge of HR, implementation of dental protocols and systems, improving patient care, interpersonal and professional interactions through communication, and how to help the dental community identify, create and implement the vision they see for their own dental practice.
